The concern with externally mounted door hinges is that they are beat down by the elements.  Rain, snow, ice, and sun work together to develop rust in the hinge area.  As this rust builds, it "powders up" and eventually binds the hinge so that it squeaks, sticks or in the most extreme cases, cracks.  Although we can't help you with the cracked hinge, we can repair the squeaks and sticking with our patented grease-able door hinge pin.

 

Easy to install with common shop tools, this kit still allows for removal of your doors as does the factory setup. We manufactured the pins with a little oversizing to allow for the bushing to be removed from the hinge.  One less thing to worry about losing or wearing out.

 

Rust does not form where grease exists and the cavity in the pin allows for grease to keep flowing into the hinge/pin ride area.
